Welcome to the website of the Tokyo Celtic Supporters Club, a group of football fans who follow the best team in Scotland, the club of Japan internationals Shunsuke Nakamura and Koki Mizuno. The Tokyo CSC was founded in July 2001 after Glasgow Celtic Football Club won the treble when a few bhoys decided they wanted to share the Hoops' success with a few more Tokyoites than just the locals at their nearest Irish pub! The club is Japan's first and only Glasgow Celtic supporters club and is open to all those who follow the bhoys in green. Tokyo is a large international city and our membership reflects that, with bhoys and ghirls from Australia, America, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Scotland and Sweden among others in our ranks.
Despite our different backgrounds, we have one thing in common- a passion for the bhoys that we often share at our sponsor, Paddy Foley's Irish pub, in Roppongi. In addition to the football, we also have organised other events including Burns Night suppers and golf, so keep an eye on our Events page. Glasgow Celtic FC was founded in 1887 with the purpose of alleviating
poverty in Glasgow's East End and the Tokyo CSC has similar charitable
goals. The club has contributed around 200,000 yen towards Japanese
children's charities, including one developing Tokyo's first shelter
for children seeking refuge from domestic violence (see the
Charity page). See our News page for the latest club info..
